Modern Slavery Statement

Veriten Ltd  ·  Corporate Responsibility

Introduction

This statement is made by Veriten Ltd in accordance with the spirit of the Modern Slavery Act 2015. It sets out the steps we take to ensure that modern slavery and human trafficking are not present in our business or supply chains.

Our business

Veriten Ltd is a specialist consultancy providing safety, airworthiness, cyber security, and risk management services, primarily to the UK defence sector. We are a small professional services business. Our supply chain consists principally of technology service providers and professional subconsultants.

Our policies

We are committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business dealings. We do not tolerate modern slavery or human trafficking in any part of our business or supply chain. Our recruitment processes are lawful and transparent, and we pay all staff at or above the National Living Wage.

Due diligence

Given the nature and scale of our business, our exposure to modern slavery risk is assessed as low. Our suppliers are predominantly established technology companies and UK-based professional services providers operating in regulated environments. We conduct proportionate due diligence on new supplier relationships.

Training and awareness

We maintain awareness of modern slavery risks within our team and will update this statement as our business grows and our processes develop.
