Veriten has joined ADS, the UK trade association representing the aerospace, defence, security and space sectors.
The move strengthens Veriten’s engagement with the wider defence and aviation community, where the company supports organisations operating in safety-critical, regulated and high-consequence environments.
Veriten’s work focuses on practical, proportionate and evidence-based assurance across the interfaces between engineering, safety, security, airworthiness, governance and digital assurance. Those interfaces are becoming increasingly important as defence and aviation programmes respond to more complex supply chains, evolving regulatory expectations, cyber resilience requirements and pressure to deliver capability at pace.
ADS provides a recognised forum for organisations working across aerospace, defence, security and space. For Veriten, joining ADS supports closer engagement with sector activity and provides further opportunities to contribute experience from its work in assurance, airworthiness, cyber resilience, Secure by Design, risk management and digital assurance.
Stephen Tonks, Managing Director at Veriten, said:
“ADS brings together many of the organisations involved in delivering and assuring complex capability across the UK aerospace, defence and security sectors. For Veriten, joining ADS is a useful step in staying connected to that community and contributing to the discussion around assurance, resilience and capability delivery.”
The membership reflects Veriten’s continued focus on defence and aviation, while supporting its broader work in safety-critical and regulated environments. Veriten will use its involvement with ADS to build relationships, engage with relevant industry activity and contribute a practitioner perspective on assurance challenges affecting complex programmes.
